About Lea Sevey

I have a unique set of skills that make me an asset to any nonprofit needing a little help, whether its because you're short staffed, have multiple people going on vacation, have a challenging situation, or need training, I can deliver. 

I've been in the domestic and sexual violence services field for over 20 years, first as a victim's advocate at a District Attorney's office and then as an Executive Director of a S/DV (Sexual/Domestic Violence) emergency shelter program and then on staff at a statewide nonprofit supporting S/DV programs.

I also have board experience and currently I sit on the board of directors of NeighborWorks Umpqua (serving all of Southwestern Oregon) as the Board Chair. Prior to this work, I sat on the Nonprofit Association of Oregon Board. In the past I served on the Oregon Department of Human Services Fund Advisory Board and the Oregon Coalition against Domestic & Sexual Violence as the Board Chair.

I have a Master's Degree in Human Services with an emphasis on Nonprofit Management. I also have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Administration of Justice.

About me personally -

I am a certified dream analyst, and have taught many classes and helped hundreds of dreamers understand the nature of their dreams. I am also a novelist (2 novels which can be found here  and working on a 3rd) and enjoys drawing and hanging out with my husband, Kelly, and our golden retriever, Charlie.
